The Raf Collection is a small business with a big purpose. We create handmade baby accessories using patterns and prints suitable for both girls and boys.

All products are handmade here in Australia with a percentage of our proceeds going to support programs for mothers and babies in developing countries.

My name is Emily. I am mummy to Rafael and I live on the Gold Coast, Australia.

When looking for some cute, stylish clothes and accessories for my son Raf, I noticed there weren’t a whole lot of options for the boys, SO that inspired me to create this range. THE RAF COLLECTION carefully considers each style, pattern and print to make sure there is a great selection to suit boys and girls.

But that's not all ...

There is another reason we do what we do.

My eyes were opened and my heart moved when I took my first mission trip to India. I was taken back by this incredible country full of colour, spices and beauty, but there was also so much more that got my attention. Whilst I was there, I had the privilege of spending time with locals and experiencing life in the very remote villages.

It was then that I heard stories and saw for myself the challenges that some of these mothers have to endure, raising children with so little resources or support. Can you imagine taking care of a newborn with no electricity, no bed to sleep in, no nappies, no cot or baby essentials? These beautiful people live in such extreme poverty and are without such basic necessities. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. How can this be? How could I help? After several visits, each time I left I wondered "How can I make a difference?" I wanted to find a way to use what I had in my hands at home to bring change. How could I use my passion and turn it into a purpose?

This is a quote that pretty much sums up the reason we do what we do, why THE RAF COLLECTION was created and why we partnered with Compassion Australia. It’s so that we can be a part of something so much bigger and to provide support to communities who need it the most.
